Aeronautical engineer and captain-instructor, notably at Air France, Gérard Feldzer has logged more than 20,000 hours of flying hours on all kinds of flying machines. He is also the holder of numerous world records, on planes, paramotors, balloons, etc.

President of the Aéroclub de France from 1995 to 2005, he organised several events including the "Champs d'aviation" on the Champs-Elysées (more than 2 million visitors). Director of the Air and Space Museum from 2005 to 2010, he participated in its renovation and the creation of events. 

At the same time, he created associations such as "a tree for you" (1 million trees planted per year), and "Futura Mobility", a think tank on eco-mobility in 2050.

Since 2009, he presents a weekly programme "transportez-moi" on France Info and from 2010 to 2013, he co-produced 40 26-minute programmes "Transportez-moi", broadcast on LCP.

He is the author of a book about his life "Si tu peux, vas-y", published by XO éditions.

A volunteer pilot on numerous missions, he will join Aviation sans Frontières as its president in 2019.
